As rent trends across Canada show 22 consecutive months of annual decline, property managers gain a trusted rental marketplace channel to reach more potential renters without adding operational complexity
VANCOUVER, BC, August 3, 2026. Leasey.AI, the AI-powered leasing automation platform for property managers and multifamily operators across Canada and the United States, today announced that REW.ca is live as a new rental marketplace channel inside the Leasey.AI platform.
Active listings from Leasey.AI customers now publish automatically to REW.ca with a single toggle, at no additional cost and with no setup required.

A competitive market that demands smarter visibility
Canada’s rental market has shifted. Average asking rent for all property types declined 4.0% year-over-year in July 2026, marking the 22nd consecutive month of annual decline and the lowest July rent level since 2022, according to Rentals.ca’s August 2026 National Rent Report.
Rent trends are particularly challenging in Western Canada. Vancouver’s rental vacancy rate reached 3.7%, its highest level in over 30 years, according to CMHC’s 2025 rental market data. The rent-to-income ratio for new tenants has also returned to pre-pandemic levels, according to CMHC’s 2026 Mid-Year Rental Market Update.
For property managers and building owners, these market conditions mean that reaching potential renters across the right rental marketplace channels is no longer optional. It is the competitive advantage that separates buildings that fill from buildings that sit.
Yet the tools available to achieve that reach have historically created more problems than they solve. Publishing rental listings to a dozen separate rental platforms means a dozen separate logins, a dozen separate lead inboxes, and a dozen opportunities for listing details to fall out of sync.
A price change made on one rental platform does not automatically reflect elsewhere. An inquiry from one channel has no connection to inquiries from the rest. The operational overhead of maintaining presence across a dozen rental platforms has forced many operators to either limit their reach or accept the chaos of managing it manually.
Leasey.AI was built to solve exactly this problem. By centralizing rental listing syndication and lead management into a single rental platform, Leasey.AI gives property managers one place to publish, one place to receive and respond to potential renters, and one place to manage the full process from first inquiry through rental agreements and signed lease.
The REW.ca integration extends that reach to REW.ca’s real estate audience across Western Canada.
REW.ca: A trusted Canadian real estate destination
Founded in 1978, REW.ca has spent nearly five decades building one of Canada’s most recognized real estate search platforms. Serving buyers, renters, and real estate professionals primarily across British Columbia and Western Canada, REW.ca combines MLS resale listings, new home developments, rental listings, and neighbourhood sales history in a single consumer destination.
REW.ca also maintains the listing agent’s identity and branding directly on each property card, a distinction that sets it apart from rental marketplace platforms that anonymize representation.
Rental traffic on REW.ca has grown significantly over the past year as more Canadians turn to online platforms to navigate their housing search.
What the integration delivers
For Leasey.AI customers, the REW.ca rental marketplace channel activates with a single toggle inside the Syndication module. From that point forward, rental listings, photos, pricing, and availability push to REW.ca automatically and update in real time whenever a change is made inside Leasey.
Leads generated through REW.ca return to the Leasey rental platform with full contact information and source attribution, entering the same automated lead response and showing scheduling workflow as inquiries from any other channel. There is no listing fee, no additional subscription, no separate login, and no manual maintenance required.
“In a competitive market where rental inventory is growing and the pool of potential renters is more selective, operators cannot afford to have their rental listings missing from the platforms that serious renters are actively using,” said Carlos Leal, COO and Head of Strategic Partnerships at Leasey.AI. “Adding REW.ca to our rental marketplace network broadens our clients’ reach in a meaningful way, particularly for operators on the Canadian West Coast navigating today’s rent trends. This is another step toward our mission of giving property managers a single lever to pull — one action that puts their rental properties in front of the broadest possible audience, without creating more work to manage the results.”
“Rental traffic on REW.ca has significantly increased over the past year, which makes this partnership so timely for us,” said Lawrence Liu, Vice President of Sales at REW.ca. “Ensuring that our vast Homeseeker audience sees a more complete rental representation, and the best newly built ones, is why we partner with forward-thinking companies like Leasey.AI. Whether you are a developer listing newly completed rentals, a property management company with many units, or a Homeseeker looking for your next place to call home, this partnership is one of the many ways we are continually improving the real estate journey for everyone involved.”
